Also known as Laguna B-Mix with Speckles, this mid-fire, smooth stoneware offers the same beloved working properties as classic B-Mix—with the added visual interest of subtle speckling.

Highly plastic and easy to work with, it performs beautifully on the wheel. The smooth, cream-toned body has a porcelain-like texture but the forgiving nature of stoneware. For best results, allow for slow drying and apply ample compression on rims and bases to prevent cracking.

Characteristics

Cone: 5 maximum.  Cookies and Cream can only go to cone 5. Anything over cone 5 will bloat. The speckles are made of Manganese and at temperatures over cone 5 they melt and start to gas out which is what causes the bloating.
