Welcome to LITTLE HILL LAWRENCE.

I am a chocolate maker by day but in all my spare time I love to create little things to make people smile & to share my wonder of nature.

I make tiny zen (no water) gardens, moss gardens and zen garden kits so you too, can enjoy the pretty little things around us that were once unseen and bring them inside to be admired and adored. 

I hand make my pots and I search far and wide for the elements of nature that go into each and every tiny zen garden I make . 

I drove 30,000kms last year and spent many hundreds of hours hunting down country lanes and deserted beaches, collecting pebbles and stones.

Each little garden contains beach stones from Kaikoura and the driftwood from beaches all over the South Island, which makes each garden totally one of a kind and totally made in NZ! 

My tiny gardens are more than a just a decoration, I created them as interactive art that can help us all be a little more mindful and peaceful. 

Once you start to hunt for things to add to your little garden, like a perfect pebble or the grasses glowing in the sunshine it’s impossible to unsee how many amazing tiny details are always around us.
