I thought it was about time I introduced myself & pop up some pictures of my own work.

My name is Rachael & I own the Makers Lounge with my husband Nathan.

I have been a ceramic artist for 11 years now, under the name @sisterofboo.

I moved back to New Zealand 8 months ago with my family after 18 years in Australia.

The Makers Lounge has happened organically after looking for a studio of my own which has evolved into my absolute dream job!

My ceramics are influenced by the eccentric fashion of the 80s & 90s, I love creating bright colourful pieces that bring a smile to customers faces.

I have been teaching pottery workshops for 6 years now & I'm so excited to be teaching them again in our gorgeous new space.
